Alpaca Fiber is a celebration of simplicity, efficiency and beauty of nature. Ethically produced, natural and sustainable .

Go Green!!

Alpaca helps to regulate temperature and wicks away moisture at the vapor stage.  We shear, clean and wash all of our fiber here on the farm

Welcome to Patti’s Place Here the Alpaca’s are always humming, the pastures are colorful with grass and fleece.

Look around stay a while, if there is anything we can do for you, let us know.

What is Felt:  The items I create are by :  Traditional Felting. A fabric that is made from animal fibers that have the natural ability to become entangled and cling together, by adding water with agitation and pressure. This if the first form of fabric ever made and has been found in ancient ruins. There is no knitting, crocheting, or weaving involved in the process of Traditional Felt Making.

I attend several fiber shows through out the year selling raw fleeces, rovings, and felted fiber creations. I also actively attend some art shows where I sell and display finished handmade products.  Check the show schedule often to keep up with where I will be next, and be sure and stop by my booth and say Hi. I am on the board of directors for the Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival,Inc. held the first Fri. and Sat in June. It is a wonderful fiber event, you do not want to miss this one, click on for more info. click here       Coming up is the Mellwood Art Show in Louisville Ky.   Located at the Mellwood Art Center,   come and join us , you will want to see all of the wonderful , unusual artistic talents on display!!
